From the first day we started evacuating seriously ill children from Kyiv, in total we managed to take out about 250 children. The Russians cynically cover themselves with children and do not allow them to be taken out of the occupied territories.
Roman Kholodov, head of the social service Paravolan OCU, spoke about this on the air of Channel 24. He also added that many children are left without proper treatment and are at risk of dying at any moment.
Unfortunately, many children died from lack of insulin or due to lack of oxygen – says Roman Kholodov.
“Children from the occupied territories, the invaders are not allowed to go to the territory controlled by Ukraine. Therefore, children will die in terrible agony, because in many cities and villages there is no light, no painkillers, as well as the opportunity to take them out” a difficult “child,” notes the head of the social service of the OCU.
According to Kholodov, there are many requests from families in the occupied territories, they ask us for help, but the Russians use them as their hostages and hide behind their sick children.
