Temporary measures to limit electricity consumption will be in effect in Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye, Kirovograd, Poltava, and Sumy regions.
— The scope of restrictions will be less than on April 4. Oblenergos in the regions will distribute the available volume of electricity evenly between queues of consumers. Consequently, power supply interruptions will be shorter, — writes Ukrenergo.
It is noted that the reason for applying the restrictions remains the same: the lack of sufficient generating capacity in the system to cover consumption in certain regions of the country.
— This is a consequence of the latest massive Russian attacks on Ukrainian power plants, — added by the department.
Restrictions on energy supply continue to apply in the Kharkov region and for industrial consumers in Krivoy Rog.
Recall that on April 4 in six regions of Ukraine there were blackouts from 18:20 to 22:00.
