This was stated by the head of the Center for Military Legal Research, Alexander Musienko, on the air of the One News telethon.
He recalled that earlier the NYT wrote that Russian troops were advancing in 5 directions. Now these directions have narrowed.

— The most intense fighting is taking place in the Chasovoy Yar area, in the direction of Marinka and Avdeevka. Attacks in the Limansky direction have partially decreased, and in the Kupyansky direction too. In the south, in the area of Robotino and Verbovoy, the intensity of the fire also decreased. There are offensive actions, but less, — said the expert.
According to Musienko, the enemy concentrates on certain directions that are important to him and seeks to develop a certain tactical success, especially to reach Ugledar and enter Chasov Yar.
On one side, the concentration of forces — strategy, at the same time, this indicates a certain depletion of Russian units, points out the head of the Center for Military Legal Research.
— If we manage to get more weapons before April, we will be able to better strengthen the defense line, inflict defeats, exhaust the enemy and prevent them from regrouping their rear and preparing for a new offensive, — noted Musienko.
The expert also emphasized that if Ukraine receives F-16 aircraft and missiles, we will be able to talk about even greater depletion of the Russian Federation and local offensive actions of the Ukrainian army.
Situation on the battlefield
The Russians continue to try to conduct offensive operations in several directions.
As reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in the Kupyansky direction over the past 24 hours, the invaders carried out 11 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Sinkovka and Tabaevka, Kharkov region.
In the Limansky direction, Ukrainian soldiers repulsed 5 enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Belogorovka, Lugansk region, Terny and Verkhnekamenskoye, Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmutsky direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 5 enemy attacks in the areas of Bogdanovka, Ivanovskoe and Andreevka settlements in the Donetsk region.
In the Avdeevsky direction, Ukrainian soldiers repulsed 20 enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Berdichi, Orlovka, Tonenkoye, Pervomaiskoye, Nevelskoye, Donetsk region.< /p>
In the Novopavlovsk direction, the Russian Federation tried more than 30 times to break through the defenses of our troops in the Krasnohorivka, Georgievka and Novomikhailovka areas of the Donetsk region.
On the Orekhovsky direction, Russian invaders carried out 3 unsuccessful attacks in the Robotino area of the Zaporozhye region.
