After that, Trump immediately fell to the floor, and the guards began to cover him. At this moment, shots continued to be heard. According to information released in the media, the 20-year-old shooter who attempted to assassinate Trump was on the roof of one of the buildings 150 meters from the podium where the US presidential candidate spoke.

During and after the shooting, the screams of people who came to support Trump can be heard. Also, quite a few spectators began to panic.

For about a minute, Trump lay under the podium until the security received a signal that the politician could be taken to a safe place.

The network also published footage from a different angle – from the back of the politician. You can also see on them that a second before the shot, the politician turned and tilted his head slightly. This is probably why the bullet only grazed his ear.
