Shooting down Russian missiles and UAVs: Zelensky announced agreements with Poland

~6 0~p>The President of Ukraine expressed gratitude to Poland for the special security agreements.

A mechanism is being developed for Poland to shoot down Russian missiles and UAVs in the airspace Ukraine, released in the direction of Poland.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky stated this during a press conference in Warsaw with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

“We are especially grateful for the special agreements. And this is reflected in the security agreement, which provides for the development of a mechanism to shoot down Russian missiles and drones in Ukrainian airspace that are fired in the direction of Poland. And here I am sure that our Defense Ministry teams will work together with our military – how quickly we can implement this point of our agreements,” said President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky.

Recall that during a visit to Warsaw, head of state Vladimir Zelensky signed an agreement on security cooperation with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk. This document provides for the possibility of intercepting missiles and drones in the airspace of our country fired towards Poland.
