The path has been cleared for former Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov to the tribunal of the International Criminal Court in The Hague.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky stated this in a video message after the ICC decision to issue arrest warrants for Shoigu and Gerasimov.
