Since the beginning of the year, significant steps have been taken to strengthen its own production of drones, and now there is an understanding that Ukraine can produce more than 1 million drones.
Prime Minister Denis Shmygal stated this during the final press conference on March 4.

— We will buy back everything our business can make to give to our Security and Defense Forces to protect the country, — the head of government emphasized.

According to him, additional funds have been allocated in the budget — We are talking about about 40 billion for organizing production and another more than 40 billion UAH — for the purchase of drones.
— Now significant funds are allocated specifically for purchases from Ukrainian manufacturers. The goal is to use 50% of the funds allocated for the purchase of weapons and military equipment in the country and contract with domestic manufacturers, — Shmygal added.
He noted that the focus now is on drones and electronic warfare systems.
Previously, Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said that producing 1 million drones for the front is a very real and feasible task for Ukraine.
