The main four air defense systems that are likely to be the backbone of our air defense in the future are Patriot, SAMP-T, IRIS-T and NASAMS.
This was stated by the speaker of the Air Force Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Yuriy Ignat, during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.

Now this reinforcement is being carried out through the introduction of additional mobile fire groups. “You also know that our American partners, together with our specialists, managed to adapt Soviet Sea Sparrow missiles to the Buk-M1 complexes,” he explained.

According to him, the launchers will be able to use these missiles autonomously – that is, one Buk will be able to operate these missiles, covering one or another infrastructure facility.
– This is a significant increase. The only question is in quantity so that our industry can quickly ensure this process,” added Ignat.
