Drone attack in Poltava region
On the night of July 27, Russian troops attacked the Poltava region with drones, which resulted in damage to an industrial facility.
According to the Poltava OVA, a fire broke out, which rescuers managed to extinguish. However, there were no casualties.
Shelling of Glukhov in the Sumy region
Russian troops shelled the Glukhov community, where 12 explosions were recorded after the use of multiple launch rocket systems.
According to the Sumy OVA, one child died in Glukhov, 14 injured people, including seven minors, were hospitalized. They are all in varying degrees of severity, but doctors are providing the wounded with the necessary assistance.

Helicopters hit in Russia
Three enemy helicopters were hit in Russia, including a multi-purpose Mi-8 helicopter, an attack Mi-28 helicopter, and a multi-purpose Ka-226 helicopter.
According to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, a military multi-purpose helicopter burned down at the Kryazh airfield in Samara, Russia, on July 24 Mi-8.
Several days earlier, on July 21, two more Russian helicopters were hit by fire in Tomilino near Moscow. Among them were — attack Mi-28 and multipurpose Ka-226.
As noted by the GUR, these aircraft were located on the territory of the Russian National Helicopter Center Mil and Kamov, which is engaged in the development, production and repair of helicopters.
Dam Breach in the Chelyabinsk Region
The dam of the Kialim Reservoir in the Chelyabinsk Region of Russia has burst, resulting in the flooding of local residents' homes.
According to Russian publications, the dam breach has flooded the villages of Kialim, Mukhametovo, Karasayevo, Baydashevo and Saktayevo.
A state of emergency was declared in the Russian region. Rescuers had to evacuate 163 residents from four villages, who were sent to temporary accommodation centers.

2024 Olympic Games
The 2024 Summer Olympic Games have opened in Paris and will last until August 11. The best athletes from around the world will compete in the competition.
