The war continues in Ukraine and the enemy does not abandon the terror of the civilian population. So, during the day, Russia attacked Kherson and the region, because of which people died. The situation at the front is also constantly changing, for example, the enemy has activated the infantry and reduced the number of air strikes in the Tauride direction.

Situation at the front
In the Tauride direction Russian infantry increased activity. Thus, 55 military clashes took place in one day. At the same time, the activity of enemy aviation is low – 5 air strikes were recorded.

The enemy's offensive actions in the areas of Stepovoy, Pervomaisky, Avdeevka, Severny, south of Tonenky and east of Novobakhmutovka, where 25 attacks were repelled, were ineffective. In the Maryinsky direction, the occupiers hit Ukrainian Armed Forces positions 11 times in the areas of Maryinka and Novomikhailovka.
In the Shakhtarsky direction, the Russian Federation carried out unsuccessful assault operations three times in areas southeast of Ugledar and west of Staromayorsky.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said intense fighting continued at dozens of points along the entire front. The heaviest are the Maryinsky, Avdeevsky, and Bakhmutsky directions. But also the south and the Kharkov region.
“Everyone should remember that the battle for the fate of Ukraine continues. It continues not in social networks, not in arguments with each other about something political, not in sorting out relationships. This battle is where every day Ukrainians and Ukrainian women need support,” Zelensky said.
Concerning situation in the Kherson direction, then during the day the Ukrainian military retained their positions and continued hostilities on the eastern (left) bank.

Shelling of Kherson and the region
Russia once again Kherson attacked. The enemy struck the central area of the city from the temporarily occupied left bank, killing two people and wounding seven more.

Besides, Russian troops shelled the village of Sadovoye near Kherson. One of the hits hit a private garage, where a 78-year-old man was located at that time. He died from his injuries.
Zelensky reacted to another shelling of Kherson and the region by the Russian Federation.
— In just this one day and only this day in the Kherson region alone there have already been more than 20 Russian shellings – the same as in Kherson, purely terrorist. In the city of Berislav, in the villages of the region,” he said, expressing gratitude to the rescuers, police and doctors.
Search operation in Novogrodovka
In Novogrodovka, Donetsk region, after clearing the rubble of a three-story building partially destroyed by a missile attack on November 30, the whole family was not found – a 33-year-old woman, a 38-year-old man and their eight-year-old daughter.

“Unfortunately, we won’t be able to find family members alive if they were under the rubble. Tomorrow dog handlers will come again – once again we will look through all the construction waste,” noted the head of the Novogrodovsk city military administration, Alexander Shevchenko.
Negotiations between Ermak and Sullivan
Head of the Presidential Office Andrey E rmak had a telephone conversation with US Presidential National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan.
They discussed the situation on the battlefield and the current needs of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
“The interlocutors also discussed preparations for the first Ukrainian-American conference on weapons production, which will take place on December 6-7 in Washington in pursuance of the agreements between President Vladimir Zelensky and US President Joseph Biden,” the report says.
The situation on the border with Poland
Ukraine is opening the Ugrinov-Dolgobichuv checkpoint for the movement of empty trucks weighing 7.5 tons or more to exit our country. It is a general checkpoint and previously only worked for passenger vehicles and buses.
Therefore, as of December 4, empty trucks, in particular tanks, from Ukraine can begin moving to this checkpoint. The daily throughput will be more than 100 trucks.
“Now the opening of Ugrinov is the first item on the list of measures that we are implementing to unblock the border, reduce queues and increase the capacity of the Ukrainian-Polish border,” said Minister of Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Alexander Kubrakov.
