The Prime Minister expressed condolences on behalf of President Volodymyr Zelensky and all our people. Denys Shmyhal stressed that Queen Elizabeth was admired not only in the UK, but also far beyond the country. Ukrainians, as the prime minister noted, will always remember her as the head of the country, which was one of the first to help us.
Most Ukrainians will remember Her Majesty because of a simple but important fact . She was the head of state who was one of the first to lend a helping hand when Ukraine faced a barbaric Russian invasion. A state that is still doing everything possible to bring our victory closer,” Shmygal stressed.
The head of government expressed gratitude to Great Britain for its support and stressed that he had no doubt that the new king Charles III would continue the progress that his mother had made.

The funeral of Elizabeth II: the main thing
Queen of Great Britain Elizabeth II died on September 8 at Balmoral Castle in Scotland at the age of 97. Her Majesty went down in history as the longest reigning monarch in the history of the UK, because she ruled for more than 70 years.
Her Majesty's funeral will be held on September 19 and may be the most massive event in the history of Great Britain since the end of World War II war. About 500 guests were invited to the Queen's funeral – heads of foreign states and monarchs. At the same time, representatives of Russia, Belarus, Syria and Afghanistan were not invited.
