In Russian Novosibirsk, police officers detained a man during the traditional procession “Immortal Regiment”. This is an event dedicated to the victory in World War II.

We are talking about Vladimir Saltevsky, who came to this event with a poster “I'm ashamed grandchildren for you. We fought for peace, and you chose war.” This is reported by the Russian media.

The detained man was taken to the Central Police Department in the city of Novosibirsk. It was planned to incriminate him with an article about identifying the actions of the leadership of the Soviet Union with the actions of Nazi Germany. Interestingly, the article has recently appeared in the administrative code of Russia.

However, on Saltevsky they made up the strait under the article on discrimination against the Russian military. It is known that the participants of the procession themselves took the man out of the column and handed him over to the police. These persons also had not their own clothes the letter Z , which became one of the symbols of Russian aggression in Ukraine. Novosibirsk Deputy Mayor Anna Tereshkova said that at least 150 thousand people joined the Immortal Regiment procession this year.

It is reported that Saltevsky is not the only one who was detained. The police also detained a walker who was holding a poster with the inscription “My grandfather fought not for such a future.” The man wished to keep his name a secret, he was also taken to the police station.
