The Armed Forces managed to destroy the school in Makiivka, where there were several hundred occupiers and stockpiles of explosives. Western analysts stated that this incident is shameful for the Kremlin and testifies that the leadership of the “second army of the world” has once again miscalculated.
On New Year's Eve on January 1, 2023, the Ukrainian military attacked Makiivka, in the Donetsk region, and sent from 400 to 600 Russian invaders to a concert at Kobzon. Surprisingly, the Kremlin confirmed losses in its own army the very next day, something that experts called quite “unusual.”
The Russian command is constantly stepping on the same rake
As journalists of The New York Times note, this UAF strike on Russians in the occupied territories highlights Moscow's military miscalculations. Even propagandists working for the Kremlin have begun accusing Russian military commanders of repeating fatal mistakes. Also, indignation arose among ordinary soldiers, who finally realized that they were “cannon fodder” for their state.
Ukrainian forces have used American-made missiles to kill dozens, possibly hundreds, of Russian troops. This prompted outraged Russian soldiers to accuse the leadership of their army of incompetence, which endangers the lives of the military, wrote the NYT.
Interestingly, the Ministry of Defense of the enemy state noted that 63 soldiers were killed as a result of the shelling of HIMARS missiles. Obviously, this figure is far from reality, but it is also an indicator that the Kremlin simply cannot hide the deaths in its army.
Experts stressed that such insane losses became possible due to a number of factors. Among them:
- dense concentration of garrisons within the radius of Ukrainian artillery;
- the placement of the military in the same building where there is an ammunition depot;
- permission for soldiers to use mobile phones, the signals of which the Armed Forces of Ukraine can use for targeting.
Even the terrorist Igor Girkin said that everything is bad with the command in the Russian army. He reacted to the shelling of Makiivka in his Telegram channel.
Our generals, in principle, are not amenable to training,” Strelkov wrote.
Recall that journalist Michael Nucky recently said that this war no longer looks like one that Russia can win. Actually, during the years of his rule, Putin has gathered the most incompetent people around him, and therefore he must prepare for defeat.
