On the night of Thursday, November 16, the Ukrainian military eliminated 16 Shahed-type attack drones. The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces showed how they destroyed enemy drones.

The video was released by the commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Nikolai Oleshchuk.
The video consists of two parts. It records the moments of the destruction of the Shaheds by units of the air commands of the South and West.
– Day and night! Around the clock!… Together – to victory! – Oleschuk noted, thanking the military for their work.
The first part of the video shows how the military destroyed the enemy Shahed at night. They illuminated the target with a searchlight and then opened fire on the drone (probably with a machine gun). At some point, the UAV caught fire and fell.
In the second part of the video, a mobile fire group destroyed Shahed already during daylight hours, somewhere in a field. The drone also caught fire in the air, after which it fell in a forest belt and the sound of an explosion was heard.

Units of mobile fire groups, fighter aircraft, and anti-aircraft missile units were involved.
The debris of one of the drones shot down in the Khmelnitsky region damaged a truck and food warehouses.
