Russian invaders are constantly shelling Severodonetsk randomly. However, the city can still be reached.
The shelling was almost until night, but now it is a little quieter. This was stated by the head of the military-civilian administration of Severodonetsk Alexander Stryuk. However, the situation is very complicated, there is a lot of damage.

The roads remain dangerous. However, according to the head of the CAA, it is possible to get to the city.
Stryuk added that as a result of today's shelling in the city, there were again victims and wounded. The official cannot say the exact amount, because people find during the day.
“We take out, we hide. We provide assistance to the wounded. If in the whole city, then, perhaps, more than a dozen people were injured,” Stryuk summed up.
The threat of cordoning off Severodonetsk
The Luhansk Police Department Sergei Gaidai said that Severodonetsk had become the number one target for the Russian army. The shelling of infidels actually does not stop, they are actively preparing for civilian targets, civilians are dying.
Advisor to the head of the President's Office Alexei Arestovich added that there is a real threat of Severodonetsk being surrounded by invaders. The Russians are trying to take the military into the cauldron in the settlements of Yampol, Seversk, Popasnaya, Vrubovka. Thus, they want to lock up Lisichansk and Severodonetsk in the environment. The Russians are bringing in additional forces and want to make a “new Mariupol” in the Luhansk region.
The American Institute for the Study of War notes that the invaders plan to make 3 “cauldrons” in the Donbas.
- In particular, in the area of Severodonetsk, including Rubizhne and Lysichansk;
- Bakhmut-Lysichansk, around Zolote (north-east of Popasna);
- around the Ukrainian fortifications in Avdiivka.
