The 7th Ukrainian Women's Congress (UWC) will take place in Kiev on November 22-23. It has been held annually since 2017. During this time, the Ukrainian Women's Congress has become the main platform for shaping the gender agenda for authorities, media, and public organizations.
Main topics of the Seventh ULC
The current congress will last two days. The main topics of the 7th Ukrainian Women's Congress will be women in war and women's leadership in the restoration of Ukraine. This was stated by the co-founder of the UWK, people's deputy Maria Ionova on her Facebook page.
– Most of the speakers are strong women who work tirelessly for the victory and development of the country in various fields. They will motivate women not to be afraid, but to express themselves in business, education, the public sector, rehabilitation of veterans and even in war,” said Maria Ionova.
She said that panel discussions will continue on six topics. These are the economic recovery of Ukraine, the reintegration of veterans, the political participation of women, the participation of women in security processes and the establishment of justice, the public health system, educational prospects and challenges.

According to Maria Ionova, participation in the Seventh ULC was confirmed by the first lady of Ukraine Elena Zelenskaya, government members Yulia Sviridenko, Olga Stefanishina, Oksana Zholnovich, Yulia Laputina, Irina Mudraya, Anna Gvozdyar and others.
The participation of high representatives and representatives of the international community, women entrepreneurs, leaders of the educational, medical, and human rights sectors is also planned. The special guest of the 7th UZHK will be the writer Sergei Zhadan.
