Kovalev's membership in the “Servants of the People” faction may be suspended/social networks
People's Deputy Alexei Kovalev decided to return to the occupied Kherson region. This decision may cost him a place in the Servant of the People faction.
People's Deputy Alexei Kovalev, who previously distinguished himself by acquiring Channel 4 “for his parents” and his subsequent talent, got into another scandal. He decided to return to Golaya Pristan, which is under occupation.
Suspension of membership in the faction
Deputies of the Servant of the People faction began collecting signatures for suspension of Kovalev's membership. The reason was the presence in the occupied territory and the failure to fulfill the duties of a people's deputy assigned to him.
Also, Kovalev has already been excluded from all factional chats. The deputies are convinced that he had no right to go to the occupied territory and had to work in the Verkhovna Rada.
Kovalev himself said that the Russians came to him with a search, but found nothing. In addition, he assures that he does not cooperate with the invaders and is ready to explain his decisions to law enforcement agencies.
