A series of powerful explosions thundered in Odessa this evening, January 31. Russia attacked with ballistic weapons from the South. Two casualties are known, there is damage as a result of the attack by three missiles.

Russian terrorists attacked the historical center of Odessa with missiles, the head of the OVA Oleg Kiper reported.
Mayor Gennady Trukhanov said that it is known about two injured women. Kiper noted that among them was a hotel employee.

A lot of damage and destruction was recorded in the UNESCO protected area. In particular, the building, which is under enhanced protection, was damaged, Trukhanov said.
As can be seen from the photographs published by the Odessa OVA, the Bristol Hotel was also damaged.
According to him, trolleybuses 7 and 9 are temporarily running to the railway station. The relevant services are working at the site of the attack.
Before the explosions, the Ukrainian Air Force warned of the threat of using ballistic weapons from the South in areas where an air raid alert has been declared.
In particular, the alarm sounded in the Odessa, Nikolaev, Kherson, Kirovograd, Cherkasy and Vinnytsia regions.

On the night of January 31, Russian troops attacked the Odessa region with attack drones. Chornomorsk came under attack.
According to information from the Odessa OVA, the city hospital, a private residential building, an administrative building, a grain warehouse and trucks were damaged in the attack.
Four people were injured in Chornomorsk. Among them was a doctor who was performing an operation during the strikes. All the wounded are in moderate condition.
