The Russians are forcibly taking the civilian population of Mariupol to Russia. Propaganda made a whole show of meeting deported Ukrainians in the Primorsky Territory, 8,000 kilometers from their home.

Commissioner for Human Rights Lyudmila Denisova reported that on April 21, a train arrived in the city of Nakhodka in the Primorsky Territory, which brought 308 Ukrainians. Among them are women, children, people with disabilities and students.

Propaganda put on a show

Lyudmila Denisova said that according to local volunteers, Russian propaganda put on a real show – the deportees from Mariupol were met by sailors in full dress, the city authorities and rescuers.

After that, they were sent to the Wrangel microdistrict on the outskirts of the city. Now they will change their documents from Ukrainian to Russian and promise one-time assistance in the amount of 10 thousand rubles in the future.

The Ombudsman stressed that Russia grossly violates international law by forcibly deporting Ukrainians, so Denisova turned to the UN Commission of Investigation of Violations of Rights people.
