So, during the day he met with Commander-in-Chief Alexander Syrsky and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Anatoly Bargilevich.

— The meeting continued specifically on front-line issues and tasks. Our operations and prospects. Despite all the shortcomings, the ability of our soldiers to destroy the invaders should not decrease. The Commander-in-Chief is regularly on the front line. Real combat commanders from the front, from the brigades, are involved in developing solutions. Today I have agreed and signed a number of necessary new personnel appointments for the Defense Forces, — Zelensky briefly commented.

The President also held a meeting with Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, during which arms supplies were discussed, as well as “fair and correct” providing brigades.

— Each combat brigade, each front-line unit must receive more of the available modern weapons, — said the President.

Zelensky also had a conversation with the minister about drones. Following the discussion, he called it “good content”, in particular regarding Ukrainian long-range drones.

The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Moscow Region, Kirill Budanov, reported separately to the President.

Vladimir Zelensky was also provided with a report by the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Alexander Litvinenko.

— Report on sensitive international areas and Russia's current plans. There is an understanding of what documents are on the enemy’s desk, what his next plan is. We will resist, — he said.

Reports of the government and regions

The Ukrainian leader also met with officials outside the military bloc, namely Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure Alexander Kubrakov. The President and Deputy Prime Minister discussed the work of the Ukrainian maritime export corridor.

— Almost 30 million tons of cargo have already been processed along the sea route. This is very significant for the time of such a war. And I am grateful to everyone who works in our ports, on ships, to everyone who ensures the operation of the sea corridor, its safety, — he said.

Vladimir Zelensky also said that after a report from the regions on the consequences of Russian shelling, he ordered Odessa and the people who lost their homes in this place because of the Russian suicide bomber to help with the situation as soon as possible new housing to replace the lost”.
