The Russians have tested the Yars intercontinental ballistic missile. They see how Europeans have recently begun to actively support Ukraine. Therefore, they are trying to instill fear in the Western audience and thus weaken the support of Kiev from our friends and partners.

The nuclear power is generally the only thing Occupiers can be intimidating. Although this raises many questions regarding quality. There have been numerous cases where tests ended in the death of personnel or the rocket simply could not take off. Despite this, as veteran of the war with Russia Yevgeny Dikiy told 24 Channel, Russia most likely wants to influence the activity of Emmanuel Macron with threats.

Russia was afraid of the awakening of Europe

According to Dikiy, Europe has begun to wake up after 30 years of cozy and comfortable sleep in a warm “bath”. It was awakened by perhaps the two greatest destroyers of our time – Vladimir Putin from the East and Donald Trump from the West. The latter was able to cut off aid to Ukraine and, if the United States wins the presidential elections, it may completely remove the security “umbrella” under which the European Union was formed.

That’s why the Europeans woke up. We must pay tribute that in recent months processes have occurred that could not have been imagined within 30–40 years. A cycle has started in the European security sphere in which money goes to the defense industry because there is already awareness of the danger. Everyone was running around, but it was still a little chaotic, because the challenge was new and they didn’t know exactly what to do with it.

Therefore, the Russians began to see this as a new threat. They were already extremely unpleasantly surprised that the West even began helping Ukraine in 2022. The occupiers only began to breathe a sigh of relief when Trump worked and the allocation of funds to our state went on a “pause.” And then it turns out that Olaf Scholz and Emmanuel Macron are not at all the same as they were 2 years ago. They became much more serious enemies for the Russians, so the response to their actions was nuclear intimidation. The occupiers are well aware that their only real horror story is the nuclear weapon.

There are questions regarding the quality of nuclear weapons

Dikiy noted that the British intelligence services and others have repeatedly expressed a big question as to whether the occupiers' nuclear weapons are even in working order. It may turn out that it is as “powerful” as armored vehicles or aviation, that is, only 30% ready, and some critical elements are not working at all.

The Yars tests are an attempt to prove that “No, no, of course we let everything go. Everything was stolen, corrupt and rusty, but except for the nuclear power. We took care of it, because it is our everything.” Before that, there were similar tests, for example, the Bulava sea-based missiles, which ended very poorly. And the tests of the Burevestnik cruise missile ended with the death of personnel and an explosion at the test site, noted Evgeniy Dikiy.

Now the RS-24 Yars was still able to take off, for of today's Putin's Russia is a truly great technological achievement, because the rocket did not even explode during testing. Little by little, Russia is catching up with the dictatorial regime of Kim Jong-un in North Korea.

Yars is a strategic intercontinental ballistic missile, like a modernized version of the old Soviet Satan. The last one was made by the Southern Machine-Building Plant in Dnepr, it was really reliable and well made. At the same time, “Yars” is already completely “no analogues” and “import-substituted”, so there are big questions for the Russians here.

Maybe they are trying to intimidate them. Or this is a direct response to Macron’s very high activity lately. In particular, to his statement that they they are discussing whether to send troops to Ukraine. I think this is more likely a signal there,” the veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war emphasized.

Russia tested the Yars ballistic missile: main thing
