President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky held an unscheduled meeting with the head of the Sovereign Council of Sudan Abdel Fattah al-Burgan.
Press service of the Office of the President reported that the meeting took place at Shannon Airport in Ireland.
Zelensky thanked Sudan for its consistent support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

Zelensky invited al-Burgan to support the humanitarian initiative Grain From Ukraine, which aims to supply food to the most vulnerable countries Africa, as well as join the Global Peace Summit.
State leaders also discussed possible platforms for strengthening interaction between Ukraine and the countries of the African continent.
