At the same time, several dozen special forces from other NATO countries, in particular from the UK, France, Canada and Lithuania, are also working in Ukraine. The US withdrew 150 of its military instructors before the outbreak of a full-scale war, but the Allied commandos either remained or left the country after the invasion.
They train and advise Ukrainian troops on organizing a land channel for transporting weapons and other assistance. The commandos are also advising Ukrainian headquarters in other parts of the country via encrypted communication channels.
The US may recognize Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism
