On the morning of June 21, at about 05:54, rescuers from the Special Aviation Squad of the State Emergency Service used a drone to find a 5-year-old boy who had gone missing more than three days earlier in a forest near the village of Troitsa in the Kolomyia district of the Ivano-Frankivsk region.

According to the State Emergency Service, since the beginning of the search and rescue operation, 5.5 thousand hectares of terrain have been surveyed, of which 4.6 thousand hectares are forested areas.
In addition, 8,902 hectares were surveyed using drones.

And divers checked 12 bodies of water over an area of 7,700 square meters and 155 hectares of coastal zone.
5-year-old Kirill disappeared on the evening of June 17 in a forest near the village of Troitsa in the Kolomyia district. The search for him continued around the clock.
Additionally, rescuers from Lviv, Ternopil, Chernivtsi and Khmelnytsky regions, as well as cadets from the Lviv State University of Life Safety and the Special Aviation Detachment were involved.
A State Emergency Service psychologist worked at the scene and provided psychological assistance to the boy’s relatives.
Police, military personnel, volunteers and local residents were involved in the search.
