Olaf Scholz announced the corresponding statement on May 22. This happened after numerous statements by the country to refuse to provide weapons to Ukraine.

We invited the German arms industry to report what materials it can deliver soon. Ukraine has now made a selection from this list and we will also provide it with the money necessary for the purchase, Olaf Scholz explained.
He also added that, among other things, the assistance would include:
- anti-tank weapons;

- On May 19, Germany announced that it would allocate approximately 1 billion euros for Ukraine from its budget. In particular, we are talking about grants that will be paid from the budget for 2022 without creating additional debt.
