— In my opinion, we should never support a ceasefire, which aims at the capitulation of Ukraine, from Germany, — said Scholz.

Putin’s proposal about supposed readiness for a ceasefire “if Ukraine also agrees to further annexations”, he called strange and cynical.

In his opinion, this only shows how cynically people think there and that the Russian president does not intend to stop his war of aggression”.

According to him, Putin is talking about peace negotiations only to continue the war.

— We will not tolerate this, — assured Scholz.

Before the Peace Summit in Switzerland, Putin made demands on Ukraine, after fulfilling which he would allegedly give the order to stop a full-scale war.

He stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces should completely withdraw troops from four of their regions and refuse to join NATO.

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry categorically criticized this “peaceful scenario” and called Putin’s real plan.
