German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has admitted to having a few “old-fashioned” habits. The politician still watches tube TV and carries documents in one briefcase for 40 years.

However, according to Scholz, few people buy such cars not just because of government policy. Scholz added that the government has just obliged gas stations to build fast charging stations. Scholz explained his choice: every time he looks at a brochure from a store where new TVs are sold, he thinks that these models will be obsolete in a year anyway – and does not buy them.

According to the German Chancellor, today's cars will soon be obsolete, but this shouldn't deter people from buying.
