— Unfortunately, there is still a part of society that believes that it is possible to stay away from this war. A part that does not want to understand that they will live with us and it is they who will adapt to the veterans, and not vice versa. Moreover, we did not choose this war. I am not even talking about basic respect. I always try to keep myself in hand, because my PTSD — is a light version of what the stormtroopers went through. But the guys, of course, may have a lot of questions like “was it worth protecting them, — Dmitry Pletenchuk wrote on his Facebook page.

The police responded to the incident and reported that law enforcement officers are investigating all the details.

Refusal to serve the military — hostel management's version

In a comment to ICTV Fakty, the establishment's administration explained that they have rules in place, that people who do not live in the hostel do not have the right to go further past the reception desk, and the girl who was working that day allegedly “misunderstood the military.”

— The situation was resolved. We understood and accepted this. Such a situation will not happen again. There was never any disdain for the military on our part. The administrator simply misunderstood that they wanted to bring these people who did not live in our common kitchen because they wanted to eat there, — commented to Fakty ICTV in the hostel.

Earlier, Fakty ICTV reported that in the Polish village of Pogorzyce in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship, Polish citizens set fire to a hostel where workers from Ukraine lived.
