Law enforcement officers detained in Kyiv a group of people illegally engaged in the sale of weapons and ammunition. They also had machine guns in their arsenal.

To detain the group, the Security Service of Ukraine conducted a multi-stage special operation in Kyiv.

15 automatic firearms and more than 6,000 rounds of ammunition were confiscated from the attackers to him. Among them are 13 AK-74 assault rifles and 3,000 rounds of ammunition for them. They tried to sell this weapon for 20 thousand dollars.

They pretended to be law enforcement officers

It was established that several residents of the capital were part of the criminal group.

To disguise the illegal activity malefactors pretended to be representatives of law enforcement agencies. In addition, during the searches, fictitious forms of permits for the right to carry weapons were found on the detainees.

They looked for their clients because of personal connections, including among criminal circles.
