SBU has covered powerful bot farms in Zaporozhye and Kyiv/illustrative photo from social networks
The Russians continue to try to gain an advantage not only at the front, but also in the information field. To do this, the enemy uses proven methods – bot farms and fakes in social networks.
The Security Service of Ukraine managed to eliminate powerful bot farms in Kyiv and Zaporozhye. They had great resources and actively acted against Ukraine.
Liquidation of bot farms
In Zaporozhye, SBU employees exposed a bot farm that had 50,000 fake accounts. It was led from Russia, it was used to justify the war against Ukraine. During the operation to neutralize the bot farm, hardware systems, 500 GSM modules and more than 3 thousand SIM cards were seized.
In Kyiv, the SBU blocked anonymous Telegram channels and groups in social networks that called for the destruction of Ukrainians. The organizer of these groups and communities has already been detained.
