Doctors advise rest for 14 days

My dear very interesting. Every day, some incidents happen.

On Friday, I had to go to the Dolinsk hospital, because my leg hurt more and more. Thrombosis was suspected. The doctor said that I need 14 days of rest. But that was not my plan.

I'll go with crutches. If I can’t, I’ll be in a wheelchair, but I definitely won’t stop. There is a long way ahead and an important goal.

So I had to slow down a bit. So far I have walked 220 kilometers. Today I plan to walk another 42 – 43 kilometers.

My friend Ivan, who was my escort, left home on Saturday. It is more difficult to walk on your own, because you have to carry a backpack and decide how to get to the hotel for the night.

Every 5 to 10 kilometers I stop at a bus stop and lie down to give my legs a little rest. I lift them up so that the swelling goes down. On Sunday, I had a good speed – almost 6 kilometers per hour.

I met a military man on the way who came home from Bakhmut for 10 days. I left him my phone number and told him to contact him if he needed anything.

Trip to the police station

Another interesting incident happened to the police. They received a message about a suspicious person and detained me near Burshtin. They took me to the department and to the employees of the Security Service of Ukraine. They checked all my documents and let me go.

Fortunately, they took me to the same point so that I could continue my journey.

On Monday morning I woke up in Rogatin. Stayed overnight at the hotel. The staff decided to pay for my dinner to thank Ukraine for their support.

Czechs donate cars to Ukrainian Armed Forces

People from the Czech Republic continue to support my marathon. I want the Ukrainians to know that the Czechs support them. One girl handed over the car to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It will be brought to Ukraine at the end of the week. First, a friend will accompany me on it to the Donbass, and then I will give this car to one brigade, which is now in the Kharkiv direction.

In addition, people continue to go for walks, and for the kilometers traveled they dump money for me. So far, the collection is moving slowly, but I believe that people will still have time to mobilize. So far we have collected:

  • 14 thousand hryvnias,
  • 63 thousand crowns.

Important! Join Peter's collection You can transfer money to the card: 4790 7299 1942 5850 (Card owner Ivan Shmanio). For the collected funds, the volunteer will purchase cars and drones for the Ukrainian military. Read more about Peter and why he is helping Ukraine in the interview.
