Andriy Sybiga and Johann Wadephul paid tribute to the fallen Ukrainian soldiers and visited the seaport, where they saw the damage from Russian air strikes.

He also thanked Germany for its significant contribution to strengthening Ukraine’s air defense.
Sibiga and Wadeful discussed the supply of new air defense systems, including interceptors. They also discussed investments in the joint production of air defense systems, Ukrainian interceptor drones and long-range weapons.
Also in focus was how to increase international support for the Odessa region and its residents in the face of Russian attacks.
“The Russian strikes show that Putin rejects peace efforts and must face increased transatlantic pressure. We discussed how to increase it as quickly as possible,” concluded Minister Andrei Sibiga.
