Russian invaders massively shelled Ukraine on the morning of September 22. The defenders managed to shoot down part of the missiles.

Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba wrote about this.

“Saturday in Ukraine began with a flurry of Russian missiles targeting critical civilian infrastructure. Some we intercepted, others hit targets. Air defense saves lives. There should not be a moment's delay in the capitals with the solution of air defense systems for Ukraine,” the minister said.

Consequences of shelling

The missiles hit critical infrastructure facilities in different parts of Ukraine. Ukrenergo noted that the scale of damage is the same or may exceed the consequences of the October 10-12 attacks. Ukrainians urge to continue saving electricity.
