Sappers defused a huge FAB-500 air bomb
Today, sappers of the Mobile Rescue Rapid Response Center of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine managed to defuse the FAB-500 aerial bomb.
What is known about the FAB-500
This is a 500-kilogram general-purpose aerial bomb with a high-explosive warhead developed in the USSR.
bombs of this type were mainly used over Afghanistan, Syria, and in 2022 the FAB-500 was used to bomb Kharkiv, Chernigov, Izyum and Sumy.

The State Emergency Service reminded that if you come across a suspicious object, in no case do not touch it. Report a dangerous find to the rescue service at 101.
