In the war against Ukraine, Russian tactics remain unchanged. Their only trump card is that they have more personnel, which they can mercilessly abandon.
Sergey Cherevaty, speaker of the Eastern Group of Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, spoke about this on air on Channel 24. He noted that the very attitude towards the personnel of the Russians is completely different than that of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Sergei Cherevaty explained that Ukrainians have more Western, European, human. They are trying thoughtlessly not to throw people into any operation.
He said that if you look at the DeepState map, it may seem that there is some kind of Russian advance. However, when the commander, Colonel General Alexander Syrsky, said that we must take one step back in order to then take 3 steps forward. After that, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated the entire Kharkiv region and Liman.
That's why it's not an indicator. The indicator is the number of the enemy destroyed, the amount of equipment destroyed, what their moral and psychological state is. And against the backdrop of such losses, probably not the best, – Sergey Cherevaty explained.
According to him, another indicator is how much they managed to maintain battle formations and what is the controllability of the troops.
“The most important indicator is how quickly we prepare new reserves, equip them with Western equipment, and then a serious game will begin. After all, none of their mobilization attempts will kill high-quality Western weapons. We saw this perfectly on the example of HIMARS, on the example of long-range howitzers that the French gave us and Germans, as well as other equipment. When it is an order of magnitude higher, this gives a significant advantage,” the speaker emphasized.
He explained why hysteria rose on Russian airwaves when information appeared that Ukraine was being given new combat tanks. “Why was the tank created? It is an excellent weapon in all respects. If it is the latest tank, then it is also in defense operations,” Cherevaty said.
The speaker added that the tank was created for counter-offensive and offensive operations. The Russians understand this very well. They have already seen how Ukrainians master any Western systems in a matter of weeks, which is why their reaction was so active.
