There is only one logical answer here – the political ambitions of Chinese leader Xi Jinping, who has not yet abandoned the idea of returning Taiwan by military means, the international expert suggested.
Last year, during Nancy Pelosi's visit to Taiwan, we could see all these exercises and saber-rattling from China. At the same time, Western and Chinese media are now reporting that Beijing may try to take over Taiwan in 2027.
China-Taiwan conflict
