If Vladimir Putin will not fall under the tribunal now, then his ambitions to fight simply will not end. At the same time, Russia's ambitions may also not end with Putin himself.

Alexander Kraev, an expert at the Ukrainian Prism Foreign Policy Council, spoke about this on Channel 24.

“I have concerns that these Russian ambitions will not end with Putin, because, in my opinion, this is part of the Russian strategic culture,” Kraev emphasized.

He explained, that in order to start a full-scale invasion, Russia purposefully “cut off” social budgets and programs for 5 years and worsened the standard of living of the population. In addition, it destroyed its able-bodied population by “non-recognition” of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Over these 5 years, Russia was able to accumulate a reserve of $630 billion, which was almost completely lost in 3 weeks. Therefore, according to Kraev, they can start a new aggression at any time. However, the question is when they could launch effective aggression.

For effective aggression, the Russians will again have to accumulate their own forces for just as long. And so we need to understand that Russia will change its approach again,” the expert concluded.

In particular, we are talking about a hybrid form of warfare, the Russians will again “scatter” their assets in several directions in the world and, as suggested Kraev, they will try to play through China.
