The American edition of the New York Times published an editorial about the alleged impossibility of liberating the occupied territories by military means. This means that no matter how well Ukraine fought, sooner or later a difficult decision will have to be made. Of course, the Ukrainians themselves will accept it, but…

Let's be frank, Western journalists know almost nothing about the Russians. Just like the Ukrainians. At most, they were taken on some alcohol tour to Moscow, where they participated in some kind of panel discussion with political scientists. Further sandwiches-whores-coke-matryoshka-souvenirs and a long road home. That's it.

Experts without expertise

Most of the so-called Sovietologists or connoisseurs of Russia are former fans of Russian literature, which already hints at their mental and psychological imbalance. The understanding of local customs and generally what is happening on the spot is minimal.

From an office in some regional American or European university or sink-tenk, you can pathetically write another book about Putin, the Russian army or Russians. But these people don't know anything about what they're trying to write about.

But working at a factory is more difficult, so herds of Sovietologists, fighters against our corruption or builders of an open society, run around Eastern Europe. We will build whatever grants are given for.

That is why these people did not understand anything either after the first Maidan of students in the 90s, or after the first Maidan known in the West in 2004. It didn't help even in 2014. February 2022 did not teach anything either – these people live far away, they do not know the language(s).

The comfort zone is being destroyed

Most of these experts and journalists find it easier to live in the world that they have drawn for themselves. This is their comfort zone, where the Russians are something with an incomprehensible soul, and not just backward fanatical descendants of the Soviets. Most of the world has not yet realized that the world can live without Russia.

It is difficult to get used to the new reality, but it will even catch up with these authors of the NYTimes article.

The world will live without Russia and Russians, who will again become peaceful Buryats, Tatars, Ingush, etc. And with the Voronezh Republic, we will somehow agree on a 50 – 100-kilometer demilitarized zone deep into the former Russian territory. that Ukraine can defeat the Russians.

Diar colligs, better learn new words for yourself – “stugna”, “azov”, “neptune”, “flower garden” instead of Kalashnikov-grandmother-beetles.
