Russians use Zaporizhzhya NPP as ammunition depot — CNS

by alex

Russian invaders continue to use the territory of the Zaporizhzhya NPP as a warehouse for ammunition and a base for personnel.

This is reported by the Center for National Resistance.

ZNPP as a warehouse for weapons

Thanks to information from the Ukrainian underground and concerned citizens, it was possible to calculate that there are units of the Russian Guard totaling up to 1,300 people on the territory of the Zaporizhzhya NPP. In particular, the OMON units Akhmat-1 (Grozny, Chechen Republic) and SOBR Agat (Penza, Russian Federation) are located there.

Now watching

Some of the Russian military personnel who are on duty are wearing the uniform of the paramilitary guard of the Zaporizhzhya NPP, not the Russian Guard. This is done for camouflage.

In the technical and basement rooms of the nuclear power plant, the occupiers store small arms and artillery ammunition to provide the contingent at the plant, as well as for the forces in adjacent positions.

According to the Center for National Resistance, the occupiers have laid more than 20 minefields around the city, which encircle the Zaporizhzhya NPP and the city of Energodar, and have a total length of about 6.5 km. Russians are still afraid of a possible landing of the Defense Forces from the Dnieper.

IAEA visits to ZNPP

The Center for National Resistance notes that this week the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) delegation visited the plant once again. However, the Russians carefully and in advance planned the route for the delegation.

— Considering the courtesy and hugs shown by IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi to the Russian leadership of the occupied NPP, it is no longer surprising that his team once again failed to notice a significant accumulation of Russian troops and weapons on the territory of the nuclear power plant, — noted in the resistance.

This is not the first time that IAEA representatives have not been granted access to the western part of the two turbine halls. However, the organization's representative office only recorded this fact, and did not make any decision regarding the representative office of Rosatom, which manages the Zaporizhzhya NPP.
