Gaidai spoke about an attempt to attack Severodonetsk/Collage of Channel 24
Head of the Luhansk OVA Sergei Gaidai said that the Russian invaders tried to break into Severodonetsk from 4 directions. However, our defenders and defenders repelled the attack, which forced the invaders to retreat.
As a result of Russian shelling, many houses were destroyed in the Luhansk region. The Russians launch airstrikes on civilian infrastructure.
Consequences of enemy attacks in the Luhansk region
Sergei Gaidai said that Russian infidels from mortars and artillery shelled almost all Ukrainian-controlled settlements in the Luhansk region.
Between Severodonetsk and Lisichansk, the span of the bridge near the railway station was destroyed.
The chairman of the UVA also said that residential buildings were mainly damaged after enemy shelling, in particular:
- 7 in Severodonetsk;
- 5 each in Lisichansk, Toshkovets and Pochechny;
- 4 in Vrubovka;
- 3 each in Gorny and Zolotoe;
- 2 in Priville.
However, as Gaidai noted, the number of destroyed houses near Novodruzhesk has not yet been established, since the infrastructure was damaged on three streets at once.
Shelling continues along the entire line of clash
Sergei Gaidai said that hostilities continue in Donbas Xia along the entire line of collision near Lisichansk and Severodonetsk. The invaders carried out assault operations in the areas of Oskolonovka, Purdovka, Shchedrishchevo and Smolyaninov, but our defenders and defenders repulsed the attack, so the Russians were forced to retreat.
