Russians spread fake news about detention of Ukrainian intelligence officers: the Center for Political Affairs responded Sofia Rozhik

The Central Intelligence Agency denied the detention of Ukrainian intelligence officers/Collage by Channel 24

The Russian FSB stated that it allegedly detained Ukrainian intelligence officers. This turned out to be another lie by Putin's special services.

The Center for Countering Disinformation denied this information. They say that this is another provocation.

Russians say that the GUR allegedly wanted to kidnap a child

Russian propaganda resources are spreading information that the FSB allegedly detained employees of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. According to the Russians, they allegedly tried to enter Russia from Lithuania. They say they wanted to “collect information about border security and kidnap a child.”

The Center verified this information – it is fake. Also, the information is absolutely meaningless and has nothing to do with reality. Ukrainian intelligence does not use such methods. This statement is another provocation by Russian special services, – the Center noted.

The Center asks Ukrainians not to let the enemy mislead them.

Recall that this is already the second Russian fake in recent days. Thus, the day before, the Russians absurdly stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces allegedly attacked the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant. The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reacted sharply to this and noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces strictly adhere to the norms of international humanitarian law and do not attack civilians or civilian infrastructure.
