The occupation forces of the Russian Federation in the Zaporozhye direction are shooting Ukrainians who were captured by them because they cannot withstand the pressure exerted by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
The mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, stated this on air at the national telethon Unified News.
He was asked if he knew anything about the shooting by the invaders of captured Ukrainian soldiers from the National Guard in the Tokmak direction. Fedorov responded that he had information from general sources.

— The enemy is in a super-aggressive state. That is why this could happen – the shooting of our prisoners of war, since the enemy cannot withstand the onslaught that our Ukrainian Armed Forces are exerting today,” he says.
At the same time, relying on data from local residents of the occupied part of Zaporozhye, Fedorov says that there is often evidence of Russian soldiers being shot, whose bodies are not taken away.
Ivan Fedorov added that the Russian army regularly carries out purges within its ranks in the Zaporozhye direction, since not all occupiers have the desire to continue fighting.
“They have begun and continue to self-destruct. This adds optimism,” Fedorov emphasized.
Let us remind you that earlier blogger and volunteer Sergei Sternenko published photos of executed Ukrainian National Guardsmen with their hands tied behind their backs. According to Sternenko, this happened in the Tokmak direction.
