Russians restore skills: why missile dangers were not long-lasting

by alex

All over Ukraine on January 31, an air raid alert was announced three times. This is due to the training flights of the MiG-31 in Russia.

The speaker of the Air Force Yuri Ignat spoke about this on the air of the national telethon, Channel 24. He noted that the danger from the air did not last as long as usual after the MiG-31K took off. It is these fighters that carry the Kinzhal missiles.

“The fact that they were short-lived suggests that these are training flights. Someone restores skills, performs some other tasks. But the alarm is announced anyway,” Ignat explained.

He added that the Ukrainians have already learned to determine: when there is an air raid throughout the country, then, probably, the threat from the MiG- 31.

Why you should not ignore the air raid signal

Ignat said that the air defense of Ukraine cannot counteract ballistic missiles in service with the enemy. The “dagger” hits the target at great speed.

When at least one MiG-31 takes off, an air raid alert sounds throughout Ukraine. Sometimes Russia releases “Daggers” and these weapons are dangerous. It is almost impossible to detect and bring it down. We do not have the means that can shoot down such high-speed missiles,” Ignat emphasized.

How Ukraine can destroy ballistic missiles

  • According to an Air Force speaker, there is the most effective way to eliminate ballistic missiles. To do this, you need to strike at the bases of infidels.
  • To do this, the defenders need drones and long-range artillery.
  • Ignatius added that Patriot or SAMP/T systems will be able to shoot down ballistic missiles in the sky.
