Russian invaders have built an almost two-kilometer fortification in the Lugansk region. The “Wagner Line” was noticed near the occupied city of Gorne, Luhansk region.
This is confirmed by new satellite images from Maxar Technologies.
The published photographs show that the fortification consists of four rows of cement pyramids, which the Russians hope will prevent Ukrainian tanks from moving to the East. There is a large trench behind the anti-tank fortifications.

Additional satellite images from the European Space Agency show that the trench was dug in two Stage:
- The first part of the trench was dug on September 25;
- The second part was dug sometime between September 30 and October 5.
PPK “Wagner” laid 4 rows of anti-tank pyramids, hoping that they will stop the potential offensive of the Ukrainian military. An analysis of the map by CNN showed that a fortification of this extent could stretch for 217 kilometers. At the same time, satellite images do not show any other structures along the possible Wagner Line.
Even in Russia itself, they do not believe in a defensive line< /h2>
As conceived by the infidels, the defense line will stretch for tens of kilometers in the Lugansk region. While a fortification can help defend against a frontal attack, there is nothing stopping Ukrainian forces from simply bypassing the fortifications, which are only 1.6 kilometers long. In addition, the line of defense can be easily broken through a narrow section.
The Ukrainian Institute for the Future previously said that in the Lugansk region, Russians are digging a stream mechanically. They are not very similar to the trenches, because they are straight, and not in a zigzag, like our military. Our trenches of this form protect against the fact that if a shell gets there, it will hit far fewer people. In addition, the Russians are actively placing reinforced concrete blocks.
Why the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Luhansk region has slowed down
Former employee SBU, expert of the Ukrainian Institute for the Future Ivan Stupak stated that the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Luhansk region has slowed down. However, not because the Russians are building some kind of “heavy duty” defensive structures, but because our military is looking for weaknesses in the defense of the occupiers.
As it happened in the Kharkov direction, when the Russians withdrew a large number of their military, dragged them to Kherson, and our broke through in the Kharkov region. It was a really cool trick, – said a former SBU officer.
