Russians have problems: why massive missile attacks are being “delayed”

by alex

The Ukrainians feared that Russia would launch a massive missile attack on our state before February 24. The Russians have fewer missiles, so they will no longer be able to repeat themselves. The enemy will not be able to come up with new effective tactics either.

This opinion was expressed by Defense Express military expert Ivan Kirichevsky on Channel 24 . According to him, most shaheed drones do not reach their targets. The occupiers change the positions of their application so that nothing comes in response.

“Most of them do not fly, the Russians are also trying to come up with something. At a minimum, change the positional areas of application so that nothing has time to fly in response. Very twisted routes,” he noted.

The Russians will not be able to repeat themselves

Kirichevsky noted that the threat of missile strikes has been there since February 23rd. He suggested that due to the large number of strikes on the energy system of Ukraine, the occupiers had fewer missiles. Therefore, the enemy tries to use them more rationally.

On the one hand, there will be another damage to the energy system (Ukraine – Channel 24), and on the other hand, high losses of cruise missiles. The Russians will not be able to repeat the truly effective tactics of missile strikes. – emphasized the expert.

The Defense Express expert claims that since May 2022, the Russians have decided it is better not to fly into the zone of Ukrainian air defense systems. The invaders will no longer be able to come up with new tactics for using cruise missiles.

The enemy launches balloons

Ivan Kirichevskiy pointed out that Russia has begun launching balloons with radar reflectors in order to deplete the work of Ukrainian air defense.

He also added that in early 2023, the Russians upgraded their X-10 missiles so that they could produce radar reflectors. According to the expert, the first few attacks worked unsuccessfully, and then began to give results.

“Actually, these balloons with radar reflectors, to put it mildly, are useless. It’s just a balloon with a piece of iron that imitates a noticeable radar target. It turns out that in this way they simply decided to “spam” us,” Kirichevsky believes.

On the night of March 1, Russia attacked Ukraine with drones

  • On the night of February 28 to March 1, Russia launched shaheds in Ukraine. An air alert was announced in a number of areas. In particular, hostile targets in the sky were recorded in the Kyiv region and other regions.
  • Air defense worked in Kremenchug at night. Up to 5 enemy UAVs were shot down in the Poltava region. The mayor of Kremenchug reported that the night was difficult.
  • Before that, the Russians attacked Ukraine with drones on the night of February 27. Unfortunately, during this attack in the Khmelnitsky region, 2 rescuers were killed.
