Russians have big problems with big offensive – Danilov

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov said this on the air of the national telethon, Channel 24 reports.

Danilov said that the Russians are experiencing considerable problems with their big offensive.

We see today that what they have planned is that they have already begun their offensive. They simply do not say that they started it, and our troops are repelling it powerfully. Keep in mind that the offensive they planned is already gradually continuing,” the NSDC Secretary noted.

According to him, it is also worth noting that due to the powerful actions of the Ukrainian defenders, the offensive against which the invaders were counting.

Briefly about the situation at the front

• The General Staff reported that since the beginning of the full-scale war, the Russians have already lost 136,880 of their military in Ukraine. Over the past 24 hours alone, Ukrainian soldiers eliminated 1,140 invaders.
• In particular, during the assault on Vugledar, Russian Colonel Sergei Polyakov was neutralized. From the very beginning of the invasion, he was the commander of the 140th Special Forces Brigade.
• During the day on February 10, the aircraft of the Defense Forces carried out 12 air strikes on the areas of accumulation of manpower of the Russian occupation forces. In addition, four more times our fighters hit the positions of enemy anti-aircraft missile systems.
• The Oryx monitoring group reported that since February 24, 2022, Russia has lost approximately 50% of its operational tank fleet. We are talking about at least a thousand tanks. Also, the invaders lost more than 2.2 thousand artillery systems.
• The American Institute for the Study of War said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine also defeated the Russian column near Ugledar. The 155th Marine Brigade is operating there, most likely consisting of poorly trained mobilized personnel. Experts note that Russian troops are using very ineffective tactics.
