Russia has occupied 95% of the territory of the Luhansk region. The shelling doesn't stop. At the same time, 40,000 people remain in the controlled areas of the region.
This was announced by the head of the Lugansk Police Department Serhiy Gaidai. He stressed that the situation in the Luhansk direction is difficult.
The situation in the Donbass is very bad. The Luhansk region continues to hold back the horde that is destroying our settlements. The firing doesn't stop at all. The Lysichansk-Bakhmut highway is under fire. Yesterday, an enemy DRG took to the road, there was a skirmish, the orcs even managed to set up their checkpoints,” Gaidai said.
Despite the difficult situation, they managed to deliver humanitarian supplies to the residents. There are more than 40 thousand of them in the territory controlled by Ukraine, up to 15 thousand of them in Severodonetsk (which is not surrounded) and villages of the community. People do not want to evacuate, added the head of the Luhansk region.
