Russia stated that it had evacuated 76 thousand people from the Kursk region. Some Russians are being evacuated to the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.

Acting Governor of Kursk region Oleksiy Smirnov stated that he spoke with the occupation “head” of Zaporizhia region Yevgeny Balitsky, who went over to the enemy's side and whose property was confiscated by the Ukrainian court, writes 24 Kanal.

What is known about the evacuation of Russians to Zaporizhia

One of the key topics of the conversation was assistance in accommodating migrants from border areas. Yevgeny Balitsky proposed using sanatoriums and boarding houses on the shore of the Azov Sea, located from Berdyansk to Kirillovka, for this purpose, said the acting head of the Kursk region.

According to Putin's henchman:

• the first flights to transport people to temporary accommodation points in the Zaporizhia region will soon be staffed;
• “Zaporizhia volunteers” have allegedly arrived in the Kursk region, who will help residents on the spot;
• lawyers and “government” employees will allegedly work in the occupied territory of Zaporizhia, who will help residents of the Kursk region to formalize documents.

It is worth noting that Russia has declared a “counter-terrorist operation” regime in three regions. It is in effect in the Bryansk, Belgorod and Kursk regions.

Despite the loud statements by the Russian authorities, some residents of the Kursk region said that the authorities had forgotten about them and were not evacuating them.

By the way, Russia has declared evacuation in four districts of the Kursk region. In particular, it is talking about the Velikosoldatsky, Glushkovsky, Korenevsky and Sudzhansky districts.
