Russians don't have enough tanks – columnist about problems in the enemy's army for “training” in Belarus

The Russians sent mobilized to study in Belarus, because they cannot provide them with more than just equipment , but even barracks or barracks on the territory of Russia. The Russian mobilized are sort of marching battalions.

This is the opinion of Channel 24Alexander Kovalenko, military-political observer of the Information Resistance group, voiced it. Earlier, Russian publicist Andrey Piontkovsky spoke about the “cessation” of mobilization in Russia.

Russians do not have enough equipment

Kovalenko noted that the 300,000 mobilized people announced by Russia are 375 BTGs. For a complete set of BTG, equipment is needed. In particular, one BTG requires a minimum of 10 tanks. Therefore, about 4 thousand tanks are needed for such a number of groups. In addition, they must have at least 33 armored combat vehicles, and this is already more than 12 thousand types of such equipment. And you also need armored personnel carriers, infantry fighting vehicles, air defense systems, MLRS, etc.

They do not have such a quantity, they cannot fully staff their partially mobilized groups. They degraded the system of mobilization. By 2014, they could more or less mobilize 60,000-65,000 personnel. Now they cannot provide even 30 thousand – this is actually 2 army corps. They cannot even supply them with barracks, training grounds. I won’t be surprised if we see them in Tajikistan,” said the military-political observer of the Information Resistance group.

March Battalions

He went on to say that these groups are already inferior. 9,000 people sent to Belarus are marching battalions. Currently, 16,000 mobilized people are concentrated on the territory of Ukraine. Marching battalions are, like in Soviet films about World War II, columns of people with rifles, but without tanks, artillery, armored vehicles, etc. We are seeing this in the Russian army, the “second army of the world” begins to fight like grandfathers.

“In a modern war, in modern conditions, the use of such tactics is nonsense. This is a war crime against their own military personnel. These are, first of all, incompetent, unskilled units that will divert the attention of the enemy, and for them it is the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They will be sent from collision lines for assault missions. They will divert the attention of artillery so that it shows its positions and finds itself under fire,” Kovalenko emphasized.

Mobilization in Russia : latest news

  • The so-called “partial” mobilization in Russia is losing its popularity among the population of large cities. In order to keep the people under control, the authorities allegedly decided to suspend recruitment in the army in Moscow, the next step is a similar decision in St. Petersburg.
  • Russia is already sending recently mobilized “cannon fodder” to the front line. Thus, several thousand Russian soldiers are settling in villages near the front line in the Luhansk region.
  • Due to the mobilization in Russia, which is necessary for waging a war of conquest in Ukraine, the aggressor is again experiencing a fall in the economy. According to central bank analysts, after the announcement of a “partial” draft in September, consumer confidence fell in the country and a labor shortage was cited.
