The Russians are stubbornly trying to continue pulling up reserves to the right bank of the Dnieper. Barges are already used for this, however, they are also under the fire control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Transfer of reserves on barges
Gumenyuk noted that the Russians stubbornly continue attempts to transfer reserves to the right bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region. In particular, barges are used, one of which was sunk by the APU on September 17.
With the help of a barge, they can transfer a few groups of personnel, armored vehicles that they can load, – said the press secretary of the Yug command.
She added that these objects are also under the fire control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. However, sometimes the Russians cover themselves with civilians so that our artillery does not strike.
“There are such facts that they load military equipment and furnish it with private cars of civilian local residents,” Gumenyuk emphasized.
Barges cannot replace bridges
According to her, barges and pontoon crossings are not capable of fully replacing bridges. This is the replenishment of reserves in small doses. These are several pieces of equipment and several dozen personnel.
True, the ratio of manpower and equipment may turn out to be different. Still, they arrange their reserves differently,” she said.
Bridges not destroyed, but unusable
The representative of the “South” command continued that the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not completely destroy infrastructure facilities, including bridges. They make them unusable.
“When they pull resources there and try to somehow start repairing them, we remind you that there is our fire control, which does not allow you to approach the bridges and spend there work,” Gumenyuk emphasized.
Reserves were transferred to Kherson region earlier
She went on to say that when the counteroffensive was announced, the Russians pulled up reserves. Then they were hidden, now they are at the front. Therefore, the Armed Forces of Ukraine effectively counteract large groups of the enemy.
